Final Major Project
Vampires
For my final major project I was heading down the route of vampires using the different representations of the vampire to create a final major project which doesn't have any vampires just my own interpretation of them.for example :
Lilith is said to be the storm demon so i was going to create a stormy backdrop to go with my final piece.
This is my first attempt at my vampire collage.
I also did some research into different variations of the vampire such as:
Martial Arts
After following the route of vampires I decided to travel down the route of my life progress of martial arts.
So i have captured some still shots of my training and I am attempting to drawing and paint some the pictures.
here are some of the pictures I have been taking so far:
These are just a few images from my progress in martial arts.
These are all my previous Belts coiled up
I have drawn a picture from a photograph of myself.
I have created a collage of all my belts so i can overlay some acetate drawing of me.
I decided to use different medias to create the same image.
This is a rough Plan for my final major project.
I have used some black and white images to create a collage of photographs.
I have also done this picture in various media's.
My final piece plan
The top middle square is going to be a picture of me and my parents.
The right side of the piece is going to be my life progress of martial arts using my belts.
Along the bottom I am doing a sequence of one my throws.
And i plan to add an acetate portrait of myself in the middle overlaying the piece.
FMP
This is the start of my final piece the colours represent my belts and their order from top to bottom.
I have scanned in and photocopied my martial arts certificates and made them smaller to put each one on the corresponding colour.
I have also added the 4 mixed graphics pieces to the left hand side of the piece.
I have added a colour wash over the certificates to blend them into the piece more.
I have drawn my self portrait on acetate.
I plan to add this to my final piece.
I provisionally stuck all my components down so far to see what the outcome was.
Here is the outcome:
